Woodland Heights Fire Morning Update- 6/24/12 at 10:15 a.m.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. a reverse 911 will be sent to all locations who received notice to evacuate for the Estes Park Woodland Heights Fire advising that they will be allowing re-entry to evacuated areas affected by fire at 12:00 p.m. today, 6/25/12.

Access will be restricted to residents only and passes will be distributed at the Citizen Meeting to be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Estes Park High School.

If citizens are not able to attend the meeting, they can get their passes at the checkpoints, provided they have proof of residency. (which will cause delay in traffic so it is recommended they get passes beforehand).

Re-entry will start at 12:00 pm. Residents that are re-entering are advised that some areas still do not have power. Owners of destroyed homes will be allowed to view the damage to their home during daylight hours only, and only with an escort.

Larimer County is providing updates at http://larimer.org/emergency/. Public Information line: 970-498-5500 (8am-8pm) (shared line with High Park Fire).
