Wonderful Wind Power!

To The Editor:
What is the single thing that year around residents of Estes Park complain about and vilify? The wind!
Modern technology has found a way to use this great, blustery renewable resource… Wind Turbines to produce energy.
Congratulations to the residents who have installed a wind turbine. Why is this a positive happening?
1. The use of fossil fuels to produce energy is a non-renewable source. We will eventually run our of fossil fuels.
2. Using renewable sources of energy such as wind, solar, wave power show that people are aware of the crisis Earth is facing and are willing to be a part of the solution.
3. Adopting alterative energy sources demonstrates futuristic thinking. We care about out next generations and want to invent/use renewable resources so the infrastructure of society won’t crash when fossil fuels are gone.
Has anyone noticed our power lines, telephone and light poles? Compare them to the sleek and graceful wind turbines!
Each time I see our wind turbine spinning, I smile. It is good to see the wind working for us.
