Warm Thanks For Special Memorial Tree
The final week for the Prospect Park Living Center Memorial Christmas Lights was another success and added to the total of nearly $700. The funds will be used to purchase a new ophthalmoscope which will be used in providing resident health care. The last donations received burned in memory of Nancy Mollé, Molly Holmquist, Susan Dodd, Alice Glissmeyer, Dagmar Pedersen, Gordon Newman, Alice Ruesch, Eileen Vogt and Wilma Treadway.
I would like to extend a special thank you to your newspaper for publishing all the ads and articles that named the memorials. A very special thanks to Kerrie Hill for all her efforts with the ads and articles, and to the EPMC Engineering Department for picking up the tree and ensuring that it was secure during high winds. And, of course, a special thanks to the staff of PPLC and the many donors who contributed.
