Town Administrator Position Applications Now Being Accepted
The Town of Estes Park is currently advertising the Town Administrator position opening at www.estes.org, as well as in local and national media. Applications will be accepted from potential candidates through Feb. 13. The Estes Park Town Board of Trustees and Gary Suiter, consultant with The Mercer Group, requested community input to help create the position profile used to advertise the position.
In late February or early March, the Town Board will review the consultant’s report on the leading candidates and choose the finalists to be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted in late March, along with a community “meet and greet,” to which the public will be invited to interact with the finalists. The Town Board expects to appoint the new Town Administrator in early April.
The Town Administrator is responsible for the day to day operations of the town, carrying out the policies set by the Town Board. The position oversees more than 150 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees, as well as more than 500 volunteers.
