Time To Sign Up For The Nan Ryan Invitational Golf Tournament
Junior golfers will again be the big winners in the 5th Annual Nan Ryan Invitational Golf Tournament on July 26.
The 9-hole scramble event will be held at the Lake Estes Golf Course. It is open to men, women, and juniors, with proceeds going to the Estes Park Golf Course Junior Program.
Last year the tournament drew 108 players and netted some $1725 for Junior golfers. In previous years, the proceeds for junior golf were $750 in 2005 and $1500 in 2006, for a total of nearly $4000.
Entry fee is $15 for resident and non-resident pass holders, and $30 for resident and non-resident non-pass holders. Entry fee includes greens fees, tournament fee, lunch, donation to the Estes Park GC Junior program, prizes for winning teams in all divisions and for special events, Door Prizes, and a gift for each player.
Logoed t-shirts and polo shirts will be available, with all proceeds going to the junior program.
“We hope to have even more players this year,” stated tournament organizer Nan Ryan. “The event has proven to be a fun time for all golfers, while at the same time raising funds to help the Junior golf program.”
Play will be a 4-person 9-hole scramble format. Players may sign up as a single or by teams. Tee times will be between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with lunch available for all. There will be extra prizes for various events, such as long drive, nearest the hole, chipping and putting.
Entry forms are now available at both the Estes Park Golf Course and Lake Estes Golf Course.
