Tickets On Sale For Fine Arts Guild Production of “Bye, Bye Birdie”

It’s time to get your tickets for the Fine Arts Guild’s upcoming production of “Bye, Bye Birdie.”
Members of the cast and crew have been hard at work at the Hempel Auditorium at the YMCA of the Rockies, rehearsing, building sets and getting ready for this great show.

“Bye, Bye Birdie” is a wonderful comedy and a very captivating musical show. It tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the Army. The singer, Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and thick sideburns; he wears gaudy gold costumes and speaks in a rugged voice. Albert Peterson, his agent, is a very pleasant mild mannered young man. Albert’s faithful secretary Rose Alvarez keeps him and Birdie moving forward in the world. Rosie concocts one final national publicity plan before Conrad’s induction into the Army.

Tickets are now on sale at Macdonald Book Shop for this show which will be performed on November 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and on November 9, a matinee at 2:00 p.m. Adult ticket price is $12 in advance, $14 at the door and $6 in advance for children, $8 at the door. Get your tickets today!
