By: Kris Hazelton

The 7th annual Estes Park Sings-“The Legends” a Rotary fundraiser for scholarships for high school students premiers April 23 and 24 in Estes Park, Colorado.

Estes Park Rotarians will act as your hosts for the evening and many of the performers in the show are members of the Rotary Club of Estes Park. This annual fundraiser is a night of fun and great music, all for a great cause.

The shows will be staged at the Estes Park High School Auditorium and begin each night at 7:30 p.m.

The theme this year is “The Legends” and just some of the performers you’ll enjoy are The Beatles, The Jersey Boys, Michael Jackson (in many phases of his life), Liberace, King Tut, Doris Day, Diana Ross, The Mamas and the Papas and even, Elvis himself.

You’ll be tapping your toes along with songs like, “It’s Raining Men,” “Walking in Memphis,” “Jackson,” “Chain of Fools,” a Jersey boys medley, “Blowin’ in the Wind,” the 60s Do-Wop medley and much, much more!

The show’s Director and Producer is Rotarian Julie Phares with Musical Direction and Choreography by Julie Varilek.

Director Julie Phares said, “I guarantee everyone they will have a very enjoyable evening listening to some of the best musical talent in the Estes Valley. We always pack the house for this show. This is one of our club’s biggest fundraisers and after you see the show, you’ll know why!”

Tickets for the show are now available at Macdonald Book Shop, the Estes Park Convention and Visitors Bureau, Estes Park News, MedX of Estes and Hobert Office Services.

All of the money from ticket sales goes right to our future, to the youth in the form of scholarships. Thanks to community support of Estes Park Sings in year’s past, $65,000 has been given to Estes Park graduating seniors. Get your Estes Park Sings tickets today!
And for those interested in dinner before the show, a special Saturday night pre-show dinner is being planned at Peak to Peak American Grille.

Entertainment before the dinner will be provided by some of the Estes Park Sings cast members. Tickets for the dinner and sneak peak show are available at the Estes Park Visitor’s Center and at the Estes Park News office for only $30.
