The Estes Park Public Library will sponsor two “Halloween Stories to Chill Your Bones” presentations by Susan Marie Frontczak on Wednesday, October 29th. Children age 6-11 and their parents are invited to attend “Just Scary Enough” from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Hondius Room of the public library.
Experiencing, confronting, and conquering fear is the theme of these entertaining legends and adventures. Space is limited. Sign-up by calling the library at 586-8116.
Adults and teens are invited to attend the “If You Dare” evening program from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Park Village Playhouse. Romantic nightmares, daring deeds, and eerie events-with a bit of ghostly humor thrown in for comic relief, this collection of literary escapades and historical chronicles awaken the imagination while lifting the hair on the back of your neck. Susan Marie Frontczak’s repertoire includes The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti, The Legend of Bluebeard by Guy Welmore Carryl, The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes, and many others.
Storysmith Susan Marie Frontczak brings history and literature to life, creates stories from thin air, and hones personal experience into tales worth telling again and again.
