Saturday, October 12
Beaver Meadows Entrance 1,024 vehicles – estimated 2,765 visitors
Fall River Entrance 513 vehicles – estimated 1,385 visitors
Grand Lake Entrance 306 vehicles – estimated 704 visitors
Total visitors park wide (only calculated at major entrances) estimated to be 4,854 for Saturday, October 12.
Sunday, October 13
Beaver Meadows Entrance 1,015 vehicles – estimated 2,741 visitors
Fall River Entrance 680 vehicles – estimated 1,836 visitors
Grand Lake Entrance 336 vehicles – estimated 773 visitors
Total visitors park wide(only calculated at major entrances) estimated to be 5,350 for Sunday, October 13.
The total number of visitors who came to the three main entrances at Rocky Mountain National Park last weekend was estimated to be 10,204.
Visitor numbers are based on a person per vehicle formula (not an exact science). This count does not include those park visitors who may have recreated in the park in other popular locations such as Lumpy Ridge Trailhead, Lily Lake, Longs Peak, Wild Basin, East Inlet Trailhead etc.
