Reva Jean “Jeanne” Koehler

Reva Jean Koehler, “Jeanne” to all of her friends, peacefully climbed into Gods loving arms at 9:07 p.m. Friday November 16, 2012. She was surrounded and comforted by the four men in her life; her loving husband Paul “Tiny” Koehler along with her pride and joy, their three sons Steven, David, and Chad Franks.

September 25th, 1942 she was the last of six siblings born to Clarence Leo Crane and Pauline Wolfe in La Junta, Colorado. She was a respected and cherished employee of the St. Vrain Valley School District for over twenty five years, where many students also referred to her as “Mom.” She is survived by her step daughters Krista and Kelly, her sons and their families which include her daughters in law Sheila, Kim, and Kelly and four beautiful grandchildren; Erin, Luc, Sage and Piper.

Her strength and grace throughout her two year battle with cancer were not only an inspiration to all that were blessed to know her, but a testament to the power of her deep faith in God’s plan. Every day and every moment she gave all of herself to her family. She gave us all comfort, strength, guidance, and most of all joy. Her loving touch and joyous laughter will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. She lived a full and loved filled life. Though we could never come close, we will all try to live our lives by her dignified example. Words truly cannot describe the love she gave to her family and the abundance of love that overflows the hearts that loved her back. Mom, we all love you so much!

Her services will be held on November 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Church 451 Promontory Drive Estes Park, Colorado 80517. Memorial contributions can be made to “Save Our Skin” Student Organization at the University of Texas in care of Allnutt Funeral Services 1302 Graves Avenue Estes Park CO 80517. See www.allnutt.com to send a message to Jeanne’s family. All proceeds will be donated to the University of Colorado Cancer Center for Melanoma Research. God Bless.
