It’s time to get your taste buds ready for a delicious evening at Quota Club of Estes Park’s 26th annual Taste of Estes event.
This fun community tradition features 24 of some of the areas best restaurants offering savory samples of their menu offerings. There are a number of new participants this year offering up tastes of some of the best food in the Estes Valley.
The Taste of Estes will be held on Thursday, April 22nd at the beautiful, historic Stanley Hotel from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Participating restaurants this year are; Big Horn Restaurant, Donut Haus, Dunraven Downtown, Ed’s Cantina, Egg & I, Estes Park Brewery, Estes Park Pie Shop, Grandma’s Mountain Cookies, Hunter’s Chop House, Mary’s Lake Lodge, Mountain Home Cafe, Notch Top Restaurant, Peak to Peak American Grille, Pura Vida, Shakes Alive Fruit Shakes, Sweet Basilico’s, Starbuck’s, Thai Kitchen, The Cascades Restaurant at The Stanley Hotel, The View Restaurant at Historic Crags Lodge, Tulums, Wapiti Restaurant and Pub, Wild Rose Restaurant, YMCA-Pine Room. At the event, you’ll enjoy and endless array of delicious food.
A fun addition to Taste of Estes is Quota Club’s third annual drawing for a one of a kind, artist crafted birdhouse.
Many local artists have had fun decorating the birdhouses in various ways. Each one is a work of art, a unique, one of a kind creation.
The birdhouses are now on display in the front lobby of MedX where you may purchase tickets to enter to win one of these beautiful birdhouses. Tickets will cost $1 for one ticket, $5 for six tickets and $10 for 13 tickets. Each ticket offers you a chance to win a birdhouse.
On the day of the Taste, Quotarians will move the birdhouses over to the Stanley Hotel where you’ll have another opportunity to enter the drawing which will be held that evening. The winners names will be drawn at the end of the night at Taste of Estes and those who win, will be able to take their wonderful new, artisan crafted birdhouse home with them.
Make sure to bring your wallets and some cash with you to Taste, to purchase your tickets. (winners do not need to be present to win).
Taste of Estes is a fun springtime event where you not only enjoy great food, you get to venture out and reconnect with your friends and neighbors who you may not have seen during these long winter months.
Tickets for Taste of Estes are going fast and are now available at Macdonald Book Shop, Poppy’s Pizza & Grill, the CVB Visitor’s Center, MedX or the Estes Park News. Cost is only $18 pre-sale or $20 at the door, (there are no guarantees of available tickets at the door, get your tickets early, this event is always a sell-out!)
Proceeds from Taste tickets go to support the various club projects Quota works on such as the ongoing ambulance drive, to purchase another new ambulance for our community as well as automatic heart defibrillators-making Estes Park a “heart safe” community, student grants, hearing and speech needs, service to youth and elderly needs, international and community projects and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Don’t miss the Taste of Estes, a delicious Estes Park tradition.
It’s the place to be!
