Nina Embich, Long Term Volunteer At Rocky Honored

Veteran VIP (Volunteers in Parks) Nina Embich, Estes Park, was honored in two ways at a ceremony Saturday, July 18 at Wild Basin Ranger Station which Nina has led for the past 25 years.

Denver’s TV Channel 7 (ABC) honored and filmed her as an “Every Day Hero” for her exemplary service. The tribute will air as part of Channel 7′s news coverage which begins at the following times: August 1 at 10:00 p.m.; August 2 at 5:00 a.m.; August 5 at 11:00 a.m.; August 6 at 4:00 p.m.; August 7 at 5:00 p.m. and August 8 at 7:00 a.m. The event will also be on Channel 7′s website.

On behalf of her fellow VIPs, Park Rangers and the multitude of visitors Nina has served, a plaque was presented to her during the same ceremony. The plaque reads . . . .
