Margaret Schurch Klovdahl
Margaret S. Klovdahl, wife of Ervin Eugene Klovdahl and mother of Karen L. Klovdahl, passed away on March 22, 2010, after complications from knee surgery.
Margaret was born on June 21, 1932 in Davenport, IA to Edward C. Schurch and Virginia Anderson Schurch. After only one year in Davenport, she spent the rest of her life in Colorado. Margaret grew up in Denver, went to South High School and received her degree from University of Denver.
Margaret married Ervin Eugene Klovdahl April 13th, 1958 in Denver. They spent their life together raising their daughter Karen and running a family owned business in Fort Lupton, Colorado. They retired to Estes Park, Colorado in 1987. After spending several years in their own home in Estes, they continued their stay in Estes living in Good Samaritan Retirement Village since 2005.
Margaret is survived by husband, Ervin Eugene Klovdahl, sister, Joan Kelso, daughter and son-in-law Karen Klovdahl and Richard Popp, and granddaughter Kylee.
There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church, 2000 Ptarmigan Trail, Estes Park, CO 80517.
