On Friday, April 26, 2013, Patricia Pickering, Patricia Washburn, and Patricia Greenburg, the authors and illustrator of Tracks in Time: A Children’s History of Estes Park, presented classroom copies of their new work to the third graders at the Estes Park Elementary School.

Created by the trio with local youngsters in mind, the book chronicles in text, photographs, and illustrations, information on Estes Park from its beginnings to the present time. Published by the Estes Park Museum’s Friends Press, the donation of Tracks in Time to the students has been made possible through the generosity of the Estes Park Museum Friends & Foundation, Inc. While initially developed for use by faculty in teaching a local history unit, the book has appeal for a more general audience and is available to the public at the Museum Shop, at Macdonald Book Shop, and at Rocky Mountain National Park.
