Estes Park resident Kevin Tackman died at home Sunday morning November 13, 2011. He was 42 years old.
Kevin James Tackman was born May 20, 1969 in Saginaw, MI. His parents are Earl and Barbara (Burzyck) Tackman. After graduating from high school he moved to Estes Park, CO in 1987. There he worked as a carpenter for Taylor Built and Westover Contruction companies. He also worked with his brother Lloyd before starting his own company, K.T. Kreations earlier this year, specializing in log construction. On May 15, 1997 he married Ginger Osterman on Pole Hill near Estes Park. Kevin enjoyed playing hockey, fly fishing, camping, four-wheeling and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife Ginger, their daughters Tedi Milmont (David) of Denver and Barbara Hatch (R.J.) of New York City and a granddaughter Aryona Milmont of Denver. He is also survived by his brothers Gary Tackman (Teresa) of Sandy, UT; Roger Tackman (Tammy) of Thornton, CO; Lloyd Tackman (Jolene) of Estes Park; Daniel Tackman (Kristen) of Westminster, CO; and Paul Tackman of Estes Park. His sisters are Linda Tackman of Denver and Mary Tackman Edwards of Fort Collins, CO. He is also survived by his parents of Estes Park and several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
A Ceremony to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held Friday November 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Church 451 Promontory Drive in Estes Park. Visitation was held on Thursday at Allnutt Funeral Chapel.
