Important Information Regarding Upcoming November 4 Election


Election Dates:

October 6-Last day to register to vote

October 20-31-Early voting for General Election, except Sunday, October 26

October 28-Last day to apply for Mail-in ballot if mailed to you

October 31-Last day to apply in person for Mail-in ballot

November 4-General election – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The League of Women Voters will provide Voter Registration and Mail-in materials, information and help with the forms at the Estes Park Public library on Friday, October 3 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Mail-in ballots will begin to be mailed out starting Oct 6. The Mail-in ballots can be dropped off at the County Bldg. on Brodie Ave. Early Voting is available at the Estes Park Municipal Bldg. from 8-5 on the dates listed above.

Voting centers in Estes Park for Nov 4 are at the Estes Park Municipal Bldg. and the Holiday Inn. You may vote at any Voting Center in Larimer County

The League of Women Voters will hold a candidates forum and presentation of state-wide ballot issues on October 16, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. in the Board Room of the Municipal Bldg. The Local Marketing District ballot question will be presented at the League of Women Voters (LWV) meeting on Oct 8 from 9-11 a.m. in the Hondius Rm of the library. The LWV pros and cons of the state-wide ballot issues are available now at the Estes Park Public Library.
