The Estes Park Repertoire Theatre Company is set to open it’s 2013 season with an original play by Michael Young entitled “Hidden Evil.” This film noir-type stage production features private detective Steven Best, played by Don Stewart, Christine Weeks as “Madelyn Chandler” and Rene Moquin, as “Benjamin Deutsch.” Catherine “CJ” Jensen plays “Alberta Forrester,” Christann Higley is “Clarisse Deutsch” and Elizabeth Potter portrays “Anne Jergens.” Craig Rouch is “Maxim Townsend,” Mike Willborn is “Tom,” and Chris Erskine plays “Hugh McNair,” Luke Holmes is “Bobby Broffman,” RJ Haber, plays “Benny Skouras” and Andrew and Barbara Jo Limmiatis play the “Extra Couple.”
The play is set in 1943, and Detective Best is dragged to a very ritzy Manhattan nightclub called “The White Pearl,” and people start dying around him, a dark Nazi plot surfaces, and Detective Best must learn what kind of man he really is, deep inside.
In “Hidden Evil,” we will be treated to another great cast of very talented Estes Park performers, in a play filled with witty dialogue and involved plot twists!
