Get Your Tickets Today For Mister Estes Park

On April 30 at the Park Village Playhouse here in Estes Park, 10 adorable men are coming together to help support a wonderful new fundraiser here in town called “Mister Estes Park.”

Just what is What is Mr. Estes Park you may ask. This is a new fundraiser created by the Longs Peak Rotary Club, the evening Rotary Club in Estes Park. The club was trying to come up with a new and exciting fundraiser where the local residents of Estes Park could attend and enjoy a night of laughter and fun. They came up with Mister Estes Park…a men’s pageant. The competition will be based on the fundraising abilities of each gentleman as well as their casual and formal wear attire, a talent competition, and of course, the interview competition. At the end of the evening, one local man will be crowned Mister Estes Park. You will be able to read the profiles of each contestant in the Estes Park News below and in the weeks to follow before the event.

The directors for this event are Julie Phares and Julie Varilek. You might recall these ladies from some of their past productions including Estes Park Sings, Bye Bye Birdie, and the Wizard of Oz. Also joining the evening event will be the Kings of Swing directed by Chuck Varilek, and Masters of Ceremony, Jan McCown, Ruby Bode and Jacie Gdovicak, all members of the Longs Peak Rotary Club.

The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Longs Peak Rotary Club which they will return to the community in the way of sponsorships for youth activities and projects, as well as for youth projects internationally.

“The youth is our future, and we have to make an investment in our future” Club President Julie Phares states. “The club is hoping that Mister Estes Park will be that avenue to make it happen.”

Space is extremely limited for this one night show so the club is encouraging everyone to get their tickets today. Already almost half of the tickets for the event have been pre-sold. Tickets can be purchased at Macdonald Book Shop for $20.00 per person. The evening will start out at 6:00 p.m. with heavy appetizers and the preshow will begin at 6:45 p.m.

Currently the Rotary Club members are out seeking sponsorships for the evening events. If you would like to support this new fundraiser please call Julie at 970-689-9453. Mike Young has created an incredible set that people will be talking about for days after the show. Major sponsors include Jo & Al Persons, Scott & Katie Webermeier- The Otherside, and the Estes Park News.
