Fun Tyme Trolleys Ready To Roll With Summer Tour Schedule

TrolleyOn Tuesday morning, Wayne and Sharon Groome, owners of the new Fun Tyme Trolleys along with Wayne’s daughter Marsha Groome, General Manager of the trolley company, gathered together with their drivers and tour guides, the Mayor and Town Trustees to officially cut the red ribbon, marking the Grand Opening of this fun new business.

Marsha thanked the crowd for attending and said, “My Dad told me about his idea for this business last year and asked me to join in this venture. I told him I’d love to help and he and Sharon bought three trolleys. I moved here to Estes Park in January, we’ve had several months of hard work getting everything in order, hiring and training new employees, etc. and now, we’re ready to roll with our tours!”

Trolley tour guide scripts were written with the help of Estes Park’s historian, Jim Pickering. Jim was on hand for this momentous occasion and stated, “This is a very special day for not only the Groome family but for Estes Park. The Groomes are following in the footsteps of Enos Mills, Father of Rocky Mountain National Park who loved to take visitors to Estes on hikes, show them the beaver ponds and teach them all about our area This is exactly what Fun Tyme Trolleys is now set up to do.”

Fun Tyme Trolley Tours drivers and guides are now set to take their guests on fun and educational tours of Estes Park or through RMNP. Along the way trolley riders will learn about the history, wildlife, landmarks and other interesting tidbits about Estes Park.

Wayne and Sharon are happy that their dream is now coming to fruition.
