From The Family Of David Laurienti of Estes Park

Our beloved father, husband, and friend David Laurienti was fatally wounded in a climbing accident on Sunday March 17, 2013 while climbing with long time friend and climbing partner Lisa Foster in RMNP.

David was an avid outdoorsman, family man and consummate friend. Climbing, camping, marathon running, fly-fishing, and laughing with his family and friends around the campfire were among his favorites. He spent his time with his family and friends making them laugh with his infectious laugh or volunteering his time to help them with whatever they needed. David enjoyed time with his Wife and children, showing them the beauty of the outdoors and how to grab life by the horns and make the most of every moment.

The family asks for privacy and time to grieve their loss. David is survived by his Wife, daughter (13), and son (7) all of Estes Park. Also, his by parents, two brothers, and a sister.

A fund has been set up for any donations through The Bank of Estes Park under the Laurienti Family Fund or at PayPal by clicking this link.

David will be missed by many in the Estes Park and Front Range communities. He was a phenomenal individual who left an indelible impression on all he touched.
