Frank was born January 23, 1941 in Chicago, IL. His parents were Jasper & Minnie Palazolo. He was married to Murtha Sweet who preceded him in death in 2009. On June 16, 2012 he married Della Darling. Frank was a resident of Estes Park for 20 years and just last week moved to Drake. He was a mechanic for the YMCA of the Rockies taking care of the vehicle fleet for 19 years. He regularly attended church with his wife at the Chapel of the Interlude in Drake. Frank was very active in the Lions Club and was recently inducted as a Vice President of the Lions Club of Estes Park. Frank loved living in the mountains and spending time outdoors, cutting and splitting firewood and really enjoyed being a “computer geek.” Frank was a great friend; he had a great sense of humor and always had a funny comment to make. He was a loving and fun grandfather to Della’s grandchildren and a companion to Katrina the cat.
Frank is survived by his new bride, Della Darling-Palazolo of Drake and her children and grandchildren; his son Keith Palazolo of Indiana; his sister Judy Johnston of Florida; stepsons Victor Sweet of Longmont, CO and Andrew Sweet of Estes Park; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter. Frank will be greatly missed by his new wife, Della and all who knew him.
