Fine Arts And Crafts Show This Weekend In Bond Park

For over 30 years the Fine Arts Guild has sponsored the Fine Arts & Crafts Festival to provide outstanding artists with a venue to showcase their work. They pride themselves in hosting a festival where exhibitors and visitors enjoy a friendly fun-filled weekend.

The 35th annual Fine Arts & Crafts Festival will be held in Bond Park this weekend, September 19 and 20 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday.

At the show, there will be 98 artists from 15 states and two musical groups, Andean Nation from Albuquerque, NM and the Darren Skanson and Mark Hanson guitars, from Denver.

Media represented at the show will be  ceramics, painting-watercolor, oil or acrylics, drawing, fiber art, photography, sculpture of various kinds, mixed media, jewelry, wearable art, gourd art, metal, wood and glass art of various types. There will also be a Silent Auction at the event. Proceeds of the auction support youth programming and a scholarship awarded to a graduating senior, pursuing an education in the fine arts.
