Eva Auberg

Services for Eva Schmidt Auberg, 67, will be Saturday, August 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Church of the Rockies.
Mrs. Auberg, who died August 9 in hospice at the McKee Medical Center, was born February 25, 1942 in Sarpsborg, Norway, the only child of Doris and William Schmidt. After being educated in Norway, she moved to London and then, in her early 20s to St. Moritz, Switzerland where she worked in the Elisabeth Arden Salon.
In Switzerland she met Henry (Hank) Auberg an American engineer. They were married in Sarpsborg, June 11, 1966.
Coming to the United States in August, 1966, they lived in Michigan where Henry Auberg was an engineer with the General Motors Corporation. Their daughter, Karianne was born there.
The family moved to Estes Park in 1994 when Mr. Auberg retired. Eva Auberg worked at the Blossom clothing shop and was a member of the Columbine Club. Preceded in death by her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Karianne.
