Estes Valley Job Fair Showcasing Work Opportunities

Library-job-fairJob seekers will find lots of opportunities at this year’s Estes Valley Job Fair, with early employer participation running high. “I’m excited that local job seekers will find such a wide variety of employers participating this year,” said Jon Nicholas, Business Resource Coordinator at the Estes Valley Library. “For job seekers, nothing can beat the chance to see so many employers face-to-face,” Nicholas said.

Employers are hiring for a wide variety of jobs in the fields of accommodations, restaurants, retail, health care and more. Hotels and accommodations will be well represented. Hotel employer participants include: Alpine Trail Ridge Inn, America’s Best Value, Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa, The Estes Park Resort, Mary’s Lake Lodge, Rocky Mountain Park Inn, The Stanley Hotel, Trout Haven Ranch, and The YMCA of the Rockies. Accommodations job titles include concierge, front desk, head housekeeping, housekeeping, maintenance and sales.

Participating restaurants include Mama Rose’s, Peppers Mexican Grill, and Poppy’s. A number of hotels will also be hiring for restaurant jobs.

Employers that include the Estes Park Medical Center, Good Samaritan Society, the Harmony Foundation and Innovage Home Care will showcase healthcare and eldercare-related jobs.

Retail businesses that will participate include The Christmas Shoppe, The Ore Cart Rock Shop, Plum Creek Shoe Store, The Spruce House and The White Orchid.

Other participating employers include the Park R-3 School District, Estes Park Lions Club, Rapid Transit Rafting, the Rocky Mountain Health Club, Photos by Dill, and Organo Golo. Job seekers will also obtain information about services offered by the Larimer County Workforce Center and the Estes Valley Library.

Sponsors of the Estes Valley Job Fair are the Rocky Mountain Park Inn (as host), the Estes Area Lodging Association, Estes Park News, Estes Park Trail-Gazette, Estes Valley Partners for Commerce, Estes Valley Public Library, and the Larimer County Workforce Center.
