Estes Park Police Report

On March 31, police were called to a disturbance at 330 5th Street. Arrested was a 38 year old female from Estes Park who was charged with third degree assault and resisting arrest. She was transported to Larimer County Detention Center.

On March 31 at 1:14 p.m., police were called to the Estes Park Medical Center on the report of a 25 year old female from Fort Collins who was trying to fill a fraudulent prescription. She was arrested for trying to obtain a controlled substance and transported to Larimer County Detention Center.

On April 2, police were called to the Prospect Estates area on the report of three neighborhood watch signs which were stolen from the neighborhood. The case is currently under investigation.

On April 2 at 9:38 p.m., police observed a fight going on at the Budget Host Motel. They saw a 23 year old male from Denver and a 27 year old male from Aurora, Colorado who were exchanging punches, while a crowd circled around them. The two were charged with third degree assault and transported to Larimer County Detention Center.

On April 3, police received the report of stolen property at 820 Moraine Avenue, Smokin’ Dave’s Barbecue restaurant. The owners reported that a photo of Mt. Olympus on canvas, valued at $1,500 was stolen from their establishment. The case is under investigation. Anyone with any leads on this theft is encouraged to call the police at 586-4000 with any information.

On April 3, a 42 year old female from Estes Park reported a credit card stolen. Approximately $3,000 of electronics were charged to her card. The case is under investigation.

On April 5, police were called about a domestic disturbance at 1360 Raven Circle. Upon arrival, police charged a 39 year old male with domestic violence and third degree assault and was transported to Larimer County Detention Center.

On April 5, at 2:23 a.m., police observed a 20 year old female from Estes Park who was knocking over traffic cones and construction pylons on Moraine Avenue. The woman had a BRAC of .181. She was charged with underage possession and drinking and released to a sober adult.

On April 5, police issued a warrant arrest to a 35 year old male from Estes Park who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. He was arrested and taken to Larimer County Detention Center.
