Estes Park Police Report
On January 19 at 3:22 p.m. police received a tip on a warrant suspect at 1120 Big Thompson Ave. Upon investigating, police arrested a 33 year old female from Craig, CO on three warrants, failure to comply, unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 substance and forgery/theft. She was transported to Larimer County Detention Center.
On January 19 at 8:23 p.m. police responded to 1120 Big Thompson Ave. on a warrant attempt and while on scene charged a 39 year old male from Estes Park with failure to appear on a revocation warrant. He posted bond and was later released.
On January 20 at 11:52 p.m. police stopped the driver of a vehicle in the 300 block of Moraine Ave. for weaving. The driver was a 25 year old male from San Antonio TX and he was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol with a BrAC of .155. He was charged with weaving, DUI, DUI per se. He was later released on a PR bond.
On January 21 at 3:18 police arrested a 19 year old male transient who was wanted on a $15,000 warrant for theft. He was transported to Larimer County Detention Center.
On January 23 at 12:03 a.m. police stopped the driver of a vehicle on E. Riverside and E. Elkhorn Ave. for a defective vehicle. Upon further investigation, the 42 year old male driver from Denver, CO was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol with a BrAC of .095. He was charged with DUI, DUI per se and a faulty turn signal and later released on a PR bond.
On January 25 at 2:53 a.m. police stopped a 38 year old male driver from Estes Park in the 300 block of E. Elkhorn for an equipment violation. The driver was found to be driving on a revoked license and was a habitual offender and he was transported to Larimer County Detention Center.
On January 30 at 11:53 a.m. a 17 year old juvenile from Estes Park was contacted by officers for possessing an illegal weapon. The youth was charged and later released to a parent or guardian.
On February 1 at 3:01 a.m. police contacted a 31 year old male driver in the 100 block of E. Elkhorn Ave. The driver was found to be driving under impairment of marijuana and the transient was charged with DUID and driving under a suspended license. He was later transported to Larimer County Detention Center.
