Estes Park Police Arrest Two Men In Response To A Burglary In-Progress

PoliceReport02On March 26 at 2 p.m., Estes Park Police arrested David Singer, 18, of Andover, Minnesota and a 17- year-old male runaway , also from Andover, Minnesota, after responding to a burglary in progress at a home located in the 1100-block of Coyote Run in Estes Park. The suspects triggered the residential alarm system, which notified the Estes Park Police Department. Officers apprehended the suspects as they attempted to flee. The Estes Park Police Department’s Emergency Response Team responded with assistance from Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Deputies.

Arrests were made on pending felony charges of Second Degree Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Possession of Burglary Tools and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. A charge of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor is also pending against Singer. The charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Singer was transported to the Larimer County Detention Center and the juvenile was transported to the Platte Valley Detention Facility. The District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District of Colorado has assumed responsibility for the case. No further information will be released by the Estes Park Police Department.
