Good news has arrived just in time for spring and the Estes Park Museum’s plans for sprucing up the east façade of their building and adding an event garden. The Estes Park Museum Friends & Foundation, Inc. recently learned that they are the recipients of one of the last $900 EPURA Façade Improvement Grants. The money is time sensitive and must be used for the re-facing of the Museum’s rear wall by July, 2010.

The goal of raising the rest of the funds necessary to complete the Museum’s Façade Project is within reach. The Estes Park Museum Friends & Foundation, Inc. received a timed Matching Challenge Grant from a generous anonymous donor. This donor will double every dollar donated to the Façade Project, up to the amount of $2,000. The combination of the EPURA and Matching Challenge Grants could cover the total estimate for the Façade Project of approximately $4,000.

Time is of the essence however, as this challenge grant will only last until April 30, 2010. Please send your check to the Estes Park Museum Friends & Foundation, Inc., 200 Fourth St., Estes Park, CO  80517 with a notation “Back Wall Façade Challenge Grant” on the memo line. Remember, every dollar donated will be doubled.
