Dr. Patrick Lillis Donates $10,000 For Flood Recovery

EVPC-donationOn Monday, December 2, Dr. Patrick Lillis and his elf assistants met at The Christmas Shoppe to donate a $10,000 check to Estes Valley Partners for Commerce (EVPC) for use by local businesses in need of flood relief funds.

Dr. Lillis, a dermatologist from Lake Loveland Dermatology has been practicing in Estes Park for 34 years and feels part of our community.

He has been reading about flood recovery efforts in the newspaper and he felt a compelling need to help.

Initially, Dr. Lillis was going to donate $5,000 but after finding out the media was to be contacted, he told Diane Muno, President of EVPC that he would up the ante and donate $10,000! “My reasoning behind the increased donation was because I thought if this gets more publicity, maybe other individuals or businesses would consider donating as I did!” Dr. Lillis said it feels great to be helping in this way and he’s happy his donation will go to good use. Diane Muno stated this donation is “truly amazing” and EVPC is excited to help distribute this very generous donation to businesses in need that were affected by the September flood.
