Devine Family Gives Thanks

To The Editor:

My family and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to this incredible community we call home! These last two weeks have been incredibly difficult for us.

On November 19th, I got the call I’m sure every mother dreads, my 22 year old son Kristopher had been in a terrible accident and was in the hospital. For the next day and a half, we stayed by his side and prayed that by some miracle, he would wake up. He never did. We said goodbye to my dear son on Friday, November 21st; the worst day of my life! He was such a beautiful young man, his big brown eyes and a smile that would light up a room! Unfortunately, he didn’t always make the best choices; but I believe he is now at peace, and I have absolutely no doubt that I will see him again someday in Heaven!

Through this horrible turn of events we have come to realize just how incredible people are and how many true friends we really have.

I want to especially say thank you to Susan Tedder, Kendis Bratrud, Karla Van Drie and Ginny Hutchinson, they have gone so far above and beyond normal friendship! Thanks also to the many friends of Kent’s and Kassidi’s, you guys are awesome! To all the incredible people who brought food, who came over and cleaned our home, who made donations and those who are there with countless hugs, smiles and prayers, it all means so much!

Thank you just doesn’t seem to say enough. You are all loved! We are so blessed to know you!

Thank you.
The Devines, Dave, Lisa,
Kent and Kassidi
Kristopher, we love you and miss you so much!
