Dale Curry

Estes Park resident Dale Curry died at Medical Center of the Rockies on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. He was 51 years old. Dale Scott Curry was born May 13, 1958 in El Cajon, CA. His parents were Leland and Adeline (Griffin) Curry.

Dale lived in El Cajon, CA before moving to Estes Park, CO in August, 2000. He married Mary Wendt on September 14, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked maintenance for the Town of Estes Park, Estes Park Recreation Center, Harmony Foundation, Stanley Hotel and Big Thompson Timberline Lodge. He attended various churches in Estes Park.

Dale is survived by his wife, Mary of Estes Park, daughters Krystal Langford and Kasey Curry both of El Cajon, CA, Holly Fettinger of Mississippi, April Squires and Tabitha Oprisek both of Ohio and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his ex-wife Kay Curry and ex-mother-in-law Mary Young. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Holiday Inn in Estes Park from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
