CANCELED-Cowboy Brad Kicks Off 21st Annual Autumn Gold Festival
“As a songwriter, I am constantly inspired by the beauty of my Colorado home, my love of nature, and appreciation for my many blessings,” Brad said. This year John Denver Memories will be Cowboy Brad’s theme, and that will certainly include fan favorite “Rocky Mountain High.”
This is the 21st year for the Sunrise Rotary fundraiser, a celebration of beer, bands and brats that raises money for the club’s high school scholarships as well as local and international projects.
The highlight of Autumn Gold is the popular raffle, with the winner taking home the grand prize of $5,000. Additional prizes include a $2,500 runner-up prize and various other cash awards. Raffle tickets are $25 each. Contact any Sunrise Rotary club member to purchase tickets, or buy them at the festival before the drawing begins on Sunday.
Sunrise Rotarians will sell freshly cooked brats and hot dogs, as well as ice cold beer and other beverages. Vendors will also offer roasted corn on the cob, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, roasted almonds and dessert.
Bring the kids. Free family activities include face painting, corn bag toss, a bouncing room and free classic car rides. The fun begins at 11 a.m. and it’s all free but for the food and beverages.
The fun begins at 11 a.m. each day and continues until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
