Comment On The Special Review Of The Anschutz Wellness Center By Feb. 18
At its February 18 meeting, the Estes Valley Planning Commission will request public input during the special review of the proposed Anschutz Wellness Center development plan, amended plat and rezoning request for Lot 4 of the Stanley Historic District. The meeting takes place at 1:30 p.m. in the Town Board Room of Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Avenue. The public is encouraged to participate in this process as it will be the primary forum for public comments on the proposed project. Submittal information, a project special review schedule and other details are available at www.stanleyanschutzproject.org. The staff report will be posted to this site the week of February 4. For those who cannot attend February 18, written comments may be submitted through the website form or to the Community Development Department at email@example.com by February 12.
The Planning Commission will provide a recommendation as the special review continues to the Town Board, tentatively scheduled for February 25 at 7 p.m. in the Town Board Room. Public comments will be accepted, although the public is encouraged to provide input earlier, during the Planning Commission review February 18.
On January 6, the Town Board voted to accept a contract for the sale of Town-owned Lot 4. The special review must be completed and approved by the board no later than March 11, per the sale contract. Finally, voters will decide on the sale of Lot 4 at the polls on April 1.
