Check Out Our “Video News Clips” And Our New Virtual Newspaper!
By: Kris Hazelton
We’ve got some exciting news!
Most of you already know that we’ve been producing “Video News Clips” since last April. Gary and I are having a lot of fun with it, bringing you video clips of what’s happening in town, making it feel like you were there! Gary has a special talent for shooting and editing our Video News Clips and is enjoying producing each and every one of them. In addition to the still photos we’ve always enjoyed bringing you, we now have Video News Clips which makes it all much more exciting watching the news as it happens.
The most recent Video News Clip we produced was for the Estes Park Volunteer Fire Dept. and it is available on our website in the Featured Video area, right on our homepage. And, all of our earlier videos can be seen there as well. We are very excited about our videos because they go well with our “Virtual Paper” on our website. Check it out!
We are also now introducing a really special new advertising/marketing idea too. On our website, anyone can see our “Virtual Newspaper” (always free!), that allows viewers to actually flip through each week’s complete newspaper, page by page. It’s so cool! And for our advertisers, your print ad can be highlighted in red so when readers click on your ad they go right to your website, or any other preferred internet link such as a coupon, property listing, etc.
You can try this by going to our website and click on the Virtual Paper, then check out the ads for Reel Mountain Theater, Grumpy Gringo, Coldwell Banker, Poppy’s Pizza & Grill, Mama Rose’s or Hunter’s Chop House and just give them a click and you’ll go right to their website. Really cutting edge!
We have to give high praises to Andrew Donaldson who works with us, because he is the computer/internet/website guru of the office and has brought the Estes Park News to new level. We’re very proud and thankful to have such a hard working individual on our team! Thanks Andrew!
We also have a new addition to our team, Greg Carner, who is helping us with internet ad sales. If you have any questions about advertising on our website, give Greg a call at 970-214-5887.
Some may ask, “How can we provide all of this for free to you, our readers? Thank our advertisers for they are the ones who help bring you the Estes Park News online daily and in print every Friday.
Keep your eye on our website, the news is updated daily and videos are always being added. Watch us grow!
