Scott Rashid, Director of Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute (CARRI), will speak on the egg laying, incubation, nesting, fledgling activities, and the unfortunate decline of the American Kestrel.  He will discuss the CARRI project of constructing and placing especially-designed nest boxes from Arvada to the Wyoming border, which several kestrel pairs have used to successfully raise numerous young.
