Claude W. Wheeler

Claude W. Wheeler, 72, of Loveland, CO passed away on December 24, 2012. He was born in Ashland, OH on April 28, 1940 to Claude and Levina Wheeler. He graduated from Smithville High School in Smithville, OH and Akron University. Claude married Carol Motz on September 3, 1960 in Akron, OH. They lived in Estes Park, CO for 10 years before moving to Loveland.

He worked for AC Williams in Ravenna, OH and Apex International in Chicago, IL. Claude was self employed for 15 years, owning Wheeler Metals. In 1997 he went to work for Estes Park Rent All. Claude was a member of the Church of the Rockies, the Elks Club. He enjoyed golf, and sporting events. Claude loved spending time with his family and attending his grand children’s events.

Claude is survived by his wife Carol Wheeler of Loveland, CO; daughters, Robin Kelly (Brian Swanson) of Laramie, WY, and Lori Pass (Corey) of Estes Park, CO; grandchildren, Alicia Schillaci (Dave), Brian Kelly, Catherine Olinger (Chad), Andrea Kelly, and Jonathan Pass; great grandchildren, Alexander Kelly, and Penelopi Kelly and nephews Terrance Wheeler (Rolando Martinez) and their daughter Summer and Tracy Wheeler (Kim) and their sons Terry and Max. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Terry Wheeler and sister-in-law, Sylvia Wheeler.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the YMCA of the Rockies, Hyde Chapel in Estes Park, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sierra Vista Health Care Center or Charity of Choice in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
