Lynn moved to Estes Park in 1972 with her family. Graduated from Estes Park High in 1975. She has called Estes Park her home for 40 years, worked at Rocky Mountain National Park for 28 years. She was also active in Girl Scouts. Lynn loved to travel, and was an excellent cook, an excellent seamstress as well as an avid Colorado Rockies, and Denver Broncos fan.
Lynn is survived by her husband Rudy, her children; Brandon Thomson of Kerrville, TX, Daniel Mead (Dana) of West Jordan, UT, Rudy Marquez III of Estes Park, CO and Lindsey Marquez of Estes Park, CO. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Reece & Acelynn Thomson and Kaylor and Joslyn Mead. She also is survived by her father and mother Norman “Gus” and Gladys Thomson of Estes Park, and her sister Norma Friedman (Charles) of Phoenix, AZ, and her brother Chuck Thomson (Melissa) of Durango, CO.
She was cherished by her family, friends, and community. She will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held at Allnutt Funeral Chapel, 1302 Graves Ave. on Friday Dec. 14th from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. with a rosary following.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Dec. 15th at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Church.
