Marilyn J. Pedersen
Marilyn J Pedersen of Loveland passed away at her home September 13, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. She was born on March 24, 1936 in Greeley, Colorado to Henry and Minnie Croissant. She was married to Gordon Pedersen for 38 years.
Marilyn will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of family and friends, and her appreciation for art and chocolate. She had many fond memories of her childhood in Greeley and her life in Estes Park. Sixty years later, she still enjoyed traveling and getting together with her childhood girlfriends. Marilyn was always the “Favorite Mom” of her children’s friends and they were always stopping by to see her and many still keep in touch.
She is survived by her son Chris and his wife Susan of Loveland, her beloved grandson Christopher “CJ” Pedersen, a daughter Sharon Bradford and her partner Stephen Bianco of Estes Park, a brother Richard Croissant and his wife Eileen of Greeley, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, son David Pedersen and a brother Stan Croissant.
There was a casual coffee and sharing of memories of Marilyn, held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at The Benson Sculpture Garden, in Loveland, CO.
