David A. Strom
A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Presbyterian Highland Camp & Retreat Center, casual dress is requested.
Dave was born May 23, 1956 to Robert L. and Blanche I. (Schock) Strom in Los Alamos, NM. He attended Boulder High School, Boulder, CO. Dave married D. Susan Goff in 1978 in Allenspark.
He worked for Lynn’s Excavating, Boulder, CO; was the Facilities Manager for the Presbyterian Highlands Camp from 1982 until the present and was Co-owner of Mountain Top Preschool and Childcare in Estes Park, CO from 1995 until the present.
Dave was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Boulder, served on the Allenspark volunteer fire department and board, visited a Compassion International Site in Honduras and volunteered at a hospital in Liberia. Many people benefited from his generosity. He enjoyed photography, reading, and bird watching. He spent lots of time outdoors, hiking, mountain and road biking, spending time in Moab, UT and climbing Longs Peak on an annual basis.

Susan Strom, Allenspark, CO; Daughters, Anna (Guillermo) Jimenez, Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Rachel Strom, Denver, CO, Sarah (Fred Morse) Strom, Ward, CO, and Rebecca (Tucker Pattridge) Strom, Ward, CO; Grandchild, Guillermo David Jimenez, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He was preceded in death by his parents.
