Albert P. Marranzino
Albert P. Marranzino died peacefully at his home in Loveland on May 14, 2011 at the age of 83. He was born in Denver, Colorado on October 5, 1927. Al enlisted in the Navy during World War II. He met JoAnn Zontine and they were married on February 11, 1950. They resided in Denver where he was employed by the United States Geological Survey for 32 years. Albert and JoAnn lived in Estes Park for 28 years and finally moved to Loveland.
In addition to his wife of 62 years, Al is survived by daughters, Diane (Tim) Nugent, and Jeanie Adams; sons, Thomas Marranzino (Mary Anne), Robert Marranzino (Chris), and James Marranzino; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Loveland. Burial was held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Friday with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Larimer County Food Bank in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
