Imaginary Lines Opens This Weekend
“Imaginary Lines,” a modern British comedy by Reggie Oliver, is the opening play of the 3rd season of Estes Park Repertoire Theatre Company. It will be performed on February 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27.
The play will be in a dinner theatre format at the Studio Theatre Peak to Peak American Grille. The dinner theme is British. Tickets for the dinner and show are $30 each and show only tickets are $15 each. Dinner and show begin at 6 p.m. and the show curtain time is 7 p.m. each night.
Tickets are on sale at Macdonald Book Shop only. No tickets will be held without pre-payment. Check or cash only for tickets, no credit card sales.
The action of the play takes place in Hampstead, in Wanda’s flat and Howard’s second-hand bookshop. Wanda is growing older as is Howard and some movement toward a relationship is revealed. But Sir Michael arrives on the scene and is making moves on Wanda or is it Carol who is a friend of Wanda. Mrs. Burlap sticks her nose in the doings and creates some interesting conflicts. The play is full of “asides” as the characters talk directly to the audience about their “real” feelings.
Cast of Characters:

Mrs. Burlap-Sara Maypole
The set design and decoration is by Michael Young and the EPRTC crew. Carolyn Wills is the Assistant Director/Stage Manager and Ted Snyder is the Technical Director.
