To The Editor:

No finer person have I known than Kurt Oliver. He was a kind, gentle, generous, and wonderful man. As a seasonal ranger in RMNP, I knew Kurt for many years.

He always had a bright smile and warm greeting. Never did I hear Kurt speak an ill word of anyone.

Kurt was a mentor and hero for me. He was what all the rangers and others should strive to be.

My life is richer, and I am a better person for having known Kurt. What a beautiful gift you were, Kurt, to all who knew you. I will miss you more than a little. My heart aches because you are gone.
