The story of Harvey is a classic tale of Elwood P. Dowd who has an imaginary friend, Harvey, who is a six and half foot (or so) tall rabbit. His sister, Veta, has seen as much of his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate and decides to have him committed to a sanitarium. However, during her visit to the sanitarium, her own state of mind causes the staff to mistakenly assume that she is the patient….not Elwood. Then the troubles begin for all concerned. Harvey is one of the truly classic American comedies.
The set was designed and built by Walt Kiser with the aid of Christann Higley.
The set decoration and design was done by Michael Young. Mike also provided the original art work that is hung on the set and shown above.
Tickets are now available for this show at Macdonald Book Shop in downtown Estes Park, cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students with student ID. Tickets will also be available at the door on the evening of the performance.
