Celebrate Healthy Kids And Family Day!
Set aside April 18th for Healthy Kids Day! To promote and encourage children’s health and fitness, the YMCA of the Rockies will hold its annual “YMCA Healthy Kids Day” celebration on Saturday, April 18th from 1:00-3:00p.m. at the Estes Park High School Track. A great opportunity for kids and families to “Put Play in Their Day,” this special event is open to the entire community and uses free, fun, engaging and creative activities to encourage children and families to adopt behaviors that support a healthy lifestyle while having fun.
Activities will include a fun-filled day of interactive games, family activity and YMCA Summer Camp registration. The Y is helping families play more and embrace healthy new lifestyle choices together. The day will begin with a Family Fun Run around the Estes Park High School Track at 1:00 p.m. Other activities open for Healthy Kids Day include a Think Green activity, family scavenger hunt, trash pickup, parachute games, face painting, family relays, obstacle courses, jump rope challenge, team building activities and bubbles.
There will be activities, games, and demos hosted by Rocky Mountain Nature Association, EVICS, Outdoor Education and Families for Estes. We would like to thank our sponsors for being a part of the Estes Park community and contributing to this special event.
