Baby tells the story of three couples on a university campus who deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of the universal experience of being pregnant. There are the college students, barely at the beginning of their adult lives; the thirty-somethings, having trouble conceiving but determined to try; and the middle aged parents, looking forward to seeing their last child graduate from college when a night of unexpected passion lands them back where they started.
Baby has roles for four women and four men plus extras. Age ranges for the three couples in the main roles are 18-21, 30-40, and 45-55 (some flexibility here).
Auditions will be held Wednesday & Thursday, February 12th & 13th from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. in Hempel Auditorium at the YMCA of the Rockies.
Please prepare 16-24 measures of a song that will highlight your vocal ability and range. A copy of the script is on reserve at the Estes Park Library for your perusal.
Performance dates are March 21-23 and 28-30.
