44th Annual Big Thompson Canyon Pancake Breakfast
The fund-raiser will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the BTCA community building one mile east of Drake on U.S. Highway 34 next to the fire station.
Estes Park outlets where tickets are available include Macdonald Book Shop, Ace Hardware, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and the Estes Park Senior Center. In Loveland, tickets are on sale at the Anthology Book Store, Awards Unlimited, Quick-Print Shop, Riverview RV Park, Sunny Jim’s Candies, Uncle Benny’s Building Supplies, Van’s Cleaners and Whiteside’s. Canyon ticket outlets include the Big Thompson Indian Village and the Riverbend Grocery Store in Drake.
This year’s breakfast will help raise money for the Big Thompson Canyon Volunteer Fire Dept. to provide much-needed equipment and training.
Tickets will cost $6 for adults and $4 for children nine and under. Youngsters under four will be admitted free. Tickets at the door will cost $1 more.
In addition to the all-you-can-eat breakfast, the event will feature a charity raffle including more than 150 merchandise prizes and gift certificates from many area merchants – plus a bake sale and a bargain clothing table.
