New Repertoire Theater Forming In Estes Park
Open tryouts for “Murder in the Cathedral” July 23rd
The Estes Park Repertoire Theatre Company has been formed to provide a season of plays for Estes Park Theatre goers.
The Company will perform four (4) plays each calendar year. Playbills will include comedies and dramas. The Company will select productions for each season and announce the schedule. Playgoers will be able to purchase a season pass or tickets to individual productions. Venues will vary and be chosen to best match the play’s subject matter.
Company members will share all duties during each production. Roles will rotate among all members of the Company each production. Open casting will be held for each production to allow other community actors and back stage people to become a part of the Company.
The Company will become a “not-for-profit” organizations and once established will, from box office income, cover expenses, establish a reserve and donate surplus to local charities the group has chosen. Grants and/or donations to the Company are greatly appreciated.
The Company welcomes anyone interested in the theatre to join our ranks.
They are currently meeting at St. Bart’s on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
